This webpage is a an attempt to document important updates in my life.

I am a graduate student at Georgia Tech, pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning.

I have experience in Software Development, machine learning and optimization. I have done a number of development projects involving Python, C++ and JavaScript.

Modeling real world problems into mathematical models and then finding clever ways of solving them is something that I truly enjoy.

My hobbies are playing basketball and debating. Feel free to have a strong opinion on any topic conversing with me, always interested in learning multiple perspectives :)


Updates and Milestones

  • Jun 2024 - I started working at Wayfair as a Software Development Engineer (SDE-I).




  • May 2024 - Graduated from Georgia Tech with a Masters degree in Computer Science (specialized in ML!


  • Jan 2024 - Resumed working on CollabNext portal (news) for my Master’s project under Prof. Kexin Rong. Returned to CS 3510 - Design and Analysis of Algorithms as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

  • Sep - Nov 2023 - Introduced diffusion models to substitute image augmentations in the contrastive learning approach used in the paper SimCLR. Achieved better compute efficiency and increased Top-1 accuracy. This was a course project for CS 7647 - Machine Learning with Limited Supervision. Final Slides. Teaser Video.

  • May - Aug 2023 - Interned at MathWorks again this summer. This time got the opportunity to work on Parsim command with massive simulations team. Intorduced a function handle for custom visualizations which reduced execution time for a typical workflow by ten times. This code will be shipped with 2024-a release of Matlab!

  • Jan - April 2023 - Worked on a investigation project on Internet Outage Data provided by IODA lab. Performed data analysis and explored a ensemble Machine learning approach to detect outages from a bunch of weak signals. Report
    Also worked on developing a web app provides statistics and maps based on historical accident data and live conditions on a highway route. Report. GitHub.

  • Sep - Nov 2022 - Started my first semester at Georgia Tech! Fine tuned BERT based LLMs and experimented with different attention mechanisms to develop a model which gives answers to the questions asked from a given comprehension. webpage. This was a course project for ML7641 - Machine Learning.
    Also coded up a 2-D basketball simulator and experimented with multiple Multi agent Reinforcement Learning Algorithms. Slides.


  • August 2022 - Joined Georgia Tech for Master’s in Computer Science!!


  • Jul 2022 - Graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Goa with a Bronze medal in Computer Scince for ranking second in the batch! :)


  • Jan - April 2022 - Worked on mathematical guarantees in making robust decisions under stochastic and adversarial paradigms. Report This was for my B.Tech research project under advisement of Prof. Divya Padmanabhan.
